The Muslim Student Association Statement On Recent Terrorist Attacks

The Muslim Student Association at Mississippi State University condemns in the strongest terms the senseless, horrific, violent acts in Orlando. We are shocked and saddenend by the recent heinous attacks in Brussels, Paris, Lebanon and Turkey. We CONDEMN in the strongest terms these unspeakably cruel and violent actions that divide concerned citizens.

Extremism, terrorism has no faith. Let us not allow anyone or anything to distract us from our faith mission of taking care of God’s creation - solidarity for peace and harmony for all.

We pray for the victims and their families. We ask blessings of health, healing, safety, peace, strength and patience for all.

"Whoever kills a person [unjustly]…it is as though he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life, it is as though he had saved all mankind." (Qur’an, 5:32)
